President Biden waited in line for nearly 40 minutes to vote for his successor

Washington [US], October 29: US President Joe Biden voted early at a polling place in New Castle, Delaware, and said it was a sweet moment.
More than a week before the official election day, US President Joe Biden voted early in his hometown of New Castle in Delaware on October 28 (local time).
The White House chief arrived at a polling station near his home with several aides, Secret Service agents and reporters.
However, according to CNN, he still stood in line with other voters and waited nearly 40 minutes before going inside to cast his vote as a citizen with voting rights. During that time, he chatted with people, talked on the phone and even helped push a person in a wheelchair.
The president smiled as he posed for photos with other people and stood in line near a man wearing a red hat supporting former President Donald Trump . Many in line cheered at his presence.
When it was his turn, President Biden signed his name, received his ballot and was then guided to a black-curtained voting booth to cast his vote, leaving only his legs exposed.
Asked after the vote if the moment was bittersweet for him, he replied that it was "just sweet." His name was supposed to be on the ballot but the leader decided to withdraw.
He reiterated his belief that Vice President Kamala Harris will be elected.
