Jaipur (Rajasthan) September 12 (ANI): “State government is committed to make the state a leading state in the country in the field of higher and technical education,” Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot emphasized this while addressing the e-launch program of Higher and Technical Education Department through video conference. On this occasion, CM Gehlot e-launched nine state colleges of higher education and Rusa Bhawan at the cost of about Rs 62 crore, and launched 10 state engineering and polytechnic colleges, girls hostels, scheduled castes and scheduled tribe girls hostels, labs and other facilities at the cost of more than Rs 23 crore. The CM said that it is his state government’s priority to spread higher and technical education to remote areas, so that children living in villages of the state can also be prepared as excellent human resources like doctors-engineers, scientists and research scholars. CM Gehlot underlined that the unprecedented work done to open 87 new government colleges in the last one and a half years shows his government’s determination to promote higher education. Along with this, during this crisis of Corona, quality education is also being imparted to students by adopting innovations like online teaching and e-content.
